"As cutting edge as it gets" - Dallas Observer

Therefore is a transmedia performance, sound, and art group directed by Dean Terry. It began as a music recording project in the 1990's and became a performance art group in 2016. Therefore creates challenging art and performance experiences incorporating live video, sound, electronic music, and performance art. The roots of our work are in performance, dada, happenings, conceptual art, experimental music, and poetry. In 2018 Therefore sold out three nights at AT&T Performing Arts Center Hamon Hall for The Alexa Dialogues. In June 2023 we packed the house again with Poems for Broken Screens.
